Foi ao acaso que me deparei com uma música desta banda ou deste artista, cujo semblante, diga-se de passagem, mete alguma impressão quando não se está habituado, pois facilmente se vê ao seu lado mais efeminado e
para a maioria das pessoas, o estímulo deve ser logo pensar que se trata de músicas para pessoas com problemas de orientação sexual, pois inclusive parte das letras das suas músicas (e pelos vistos alguns videoclips) estão relacionadas com a vida e orientação sexual do cantor. Creio que muita gente não ouvirá as suas músicas devido a esse facto, contudo, aqueles que conseguirem ultrapassar isso e souberem dar primazia ao que determinadas músicas conseguem exprimir, não apenas pela sua letra, mas também pela sua sonoridade e afins, terão músicas que não se ouvem apenas uma vez mesmo que não nos identifiquemos com grande parte das coisas que possam ser ditas nas suas músicas. De referir que essa identificação também não é sempre essencial para gostarmos de uma música uma vez que muitas vezes o mais importante é o que elas exprimem e tenha-se como exemplo Sigur Ros...não percebemos nada (ou quase nada) do que eles dizem e no entanto têm músicas fantásticas, mesmo que se traduzidas não dissessem o que realmente elas nos fazem sentir. Tendo em conta esse aspecto, há também outras músicas... aquelas que para além de terem letras que podem dizer muita coisa para a generalidade das pessoas, são cantadas ou interpretadas de forma única ou pelo menos da forma aparentemente certa para as músicas que são.
Algumas músicas que merecem a pena serem ouvidas do álbum "Too Bright" e do álbum "Put your back in 2 it"...

Do que ouvi gostei e ultimamente ando a ver se não abro ainda mais os meus horizontes musicais, porque acabo sempre por comprar os cd's :-p
ResponderEliminar...há letras tão simples que nos dizem tanto. E por vezes é a letra que nos faz gostar duma música.
Tenho ouvido algumas dessas músicas com alguma frequência porque gostei ... mas tens razão em relação ao que dizias, e o que vale é que hoje em dia há formas gratuitas de se ouvir música como é o caso do youtube, spotify, etc.
